Casa Kiwi Hostel

A favorite place to stay for many travelers who visit Medellin, Colombia. Casa Kiwi is located three blocks from all of the action of the Zona Rosa, where you find the best nightlife and restaurants in Medellin. Even though it's close to everything, when you get back home to Casa Kiwi you feel a relief to be back in a nice, comfortable, cool, relaxing environment.

There offer a pool table, high-speed internet access, a big screen TV with movie channels and a DVD library, hammocks, laundry, bicycle rental, tour and immigration information, great kitchen facilities, orthopedic mattresses, lots of hot water, airport taxi pick-up, outside deck/patio, and lots of plants, light, and fresh air. Also, all of the doors to all of the rooms have key locks, dorms included.


Black Sheep Hostel

The Black Sheep Hostel is located in the best area of Medellin. A five-minute walk from the Metro Station Poblado and a short walk from a major bus route. The hostel is also less than a ten minute walk to one of the largest supermarkets in the city. A short trip to the top University for studying Spanish, EAFIT.

Among the facilites offered are two new Dell computers with high-speed internet with CD/DVD burning available as well as affordable international calling.

The hostel has a large garden area with a balcony. As well as a couple of hammocks for relaxing. They have an Argentinean style BBQ where they feast outside several nights a week. The house is very secure with 24 hour reception area and a security guard covering the street all day and night. The area is one of the quietest and safest in Medellin.

The owner, a New Zealander, has several years experience travelling in Colombia as well as South America and can offer all types of advice.

Provenza Hostel

Great savings! Located four blocks from the popular Parque Lleras, where all the best of Medellin's nightlife is located.

Provenza Hostel has one main dormitory. It has six beds with a lot of hot water. The prices start at $29.000 Colombian pesos. There are three private rooms with bathroom and hot water. And double beds, plus T.V. There are also two private rooms with twin beds, private bathroom and a lot of hot water and T.V. The hostal has a main T.V room and free internet access, along with WIFI.
